Child Molesters...Public Square punishment or let them suffer in jail?

Question

Should Male/female child molesters be publicly castrated/neutered or spayed and have their Hands amputated to prevent further offenses?

As Part of the United States Constitution, Every Citizen has a right to equal Protection under the law, as do all prisoners, reguardless of the crime. However I do agree with many answers on some savage level, especially Child Adusers/Molesters should have heavier and much stricter sentences and penalties, The Death sentence for instance. Amputation/removal to where they cannot reoffend with their sexual organ is not a punishment that maybe totally effective, but it could be an effective deterant as to prevent a repeat offense.
Children that are abused, are more likely to be future abusers, and children that falsley charge parents should be psychologically examined after a full and thurough investigation has taken place. Allthough it is a costly an lengthy process, it is a worth while one.

It sounds like a good idea until you remember that sometimes people are wrongly convicted and sometimes "victims" lie about what happened to them. I'm not saying this is usually the case, just that sometimes it happens. You can't get back your stuff once you've been mutilated. I know a family whose daughter totally lied about being abused (not sexually) she made up whole fictional stories. Obviously the kid has problems, but her parents weren't beating her like she said they were. So what happens when the same girl says her father is touching her wrong?

While I think it's the lowest of offenses, and I'm usually all for public castration, I sometimes have to remind myself that there are SO many factors that tie into a life of pedophilic tendencies. The whole cycle of molesters once being molested themselves cannot be ignored. It's obviously not an excuse to molest (that whole issue of choice comes into play and all), but at the same time, it's hard to argue that this offense should be publicly punished when the person has most likely suffered a horrific childhood him/herself. Don't get me wrong- sterilization is a-okay in my book, I just think it should be done in private.

Look, people in America are too sympathetic.I assert this concept to all of you.That the U.S. has made the status of child molesters public information for one reason only.Public officials know that they would appear to be savage if they did to them what was deserved.They have made the addresses public so as to pass the buck to us. So that we take law into our own hands and simply snipe them as they come outside on there way to the nearest schoolyard.I
I mean what have we become when we let these people exist in our own neighborhoods. Do you really think the D.A. is going to waste time and money investigating the death of a known child molester? Unless that D.A. wants to be shot himself he will purposefully and methodically fudge that investigation and intentionally throw that file to the four winds. Course they will never admit that but I think it is close to reality.May be wrong.

Instead of turning into savages ourselves let's try and get all the child molesters in jail. The overwhelming majority who pose as "regular people" are mainly raping and molesting their daughters, nieces, grandaughters, sons and neighbors. Less than 5% will be brought to justice. It is estimated that 1 in 4 women will be sexually assaulted and 3/4 of those will be assaulted by age 18 using my a family member or friend.

I can't think of anything worse than a child molester. They are the lowest of the low. They take advantage of young children and I don't think they should be afforded any type of leniency. Most of our laws regarding child abuse don't sanction public castration or amputation of their hands - but they should get the maximum punishment allowed under the law. Put them in jail and throw away the key.

But why stop there?
I'm sure that if left up to those who were molested they could also figure out more interesting ways to punish all those bastards and never let any of them out of prison for any reason because what they did to get them in prison has left those innocent victims in their own private prison for the rest of their lives so why pity any bastard that molested any one have a minute of freedom again?
He did the crime so now he can do the time.
And any one who feels sorry for any of those bastards deserves to join them in prison along with the offenders.

It'd be nice to have them be tied up and put in a room with the parents of the child he molested. Give the parents a couple of baseball bats and let 'em loose in the room.

I actual have slaved my entire existence attempting to describe, plead, beg my toddlers to do the right ingredient. in the journey that they nevertheless can't get it then it is all on them. demanding love is likewise area of being a figure. it received't even flow your suggestions to allow your baby serve the punishment for his or her habit.

Put them in jail. In there, they have a higher chance of being molested by other nasty looking prison mates. See how it feels ya barstards! And did u say female child molesters? ha ha never heard of one.
