Not knowing the size of the flower, my best guest is - it's an oriental lily, sometimes called the stargazer lily. It has a strong fragrance when it is open.

I leave them on the timber and vines. Honeysuckle, magnolia and wax lugustrums are in bloom right here contained in the swamp. i have not seen the azaleas yet, and the wisteria blew away with the hurricanes. Crepe myrtles are attempting to bloom. placed all of them at the same time and also you've were given a ought to-June bayou bouquet. Me? acceptable this second? i'm dreaming of Black Roses... White Rhythm and Blues . . .

Could also be a wood geranium, Pelargonium sp. also called cranesbills. A picture would really help.
Or, it could be a tree mallow, Malva sylvestris specifically "Zebrina".
How tall is the plant? What do the leaves look like? What conditions is it growing under?
Good luck

you should post a pic ... but whatever it is, it is NOT a lily ... lilies have six petals (see pic). Petunia is a better suggestion.
