What kind of discharge? Watery, clear ?? If its the crusty kind, its normal. mine had the crust at the edges of the eye, just wipe it away with a soft cloth. But for other discharge, do go to a vet. Monitor the eating habits. Once it shows signs of not eating, bring it to the vet immediatly

In my experience of raising and selling guinea pigs for the past 11 years, it is not normal for them to have any discharge. Please take the animal to a vet.
