That's hard. I think that Cristiano Ronaldo has huge potential though now I think that may not be with ManU. Figo is outstanding. I really liked watching Pauleta, Costinha, Ricardo and Deco - I haven't seen much of them before.
Maniche really shone brightly for sure. So did Figo - but it's more expected with such solid veterans, you know?
I guess that I have to go with Cristiano Ronaldo. He's just interesting - so much potential and so much drama at the same time. He seems to always create a story some how.
Pauleta - he had an outstanding World Cup. Really remarkable. I think that he'll probably be snapped up by a more substantial team than Paris SG for sure. At least he should be.

Cristiano Ronaldo all the way, baby. And yea, I have to agree with The one--he was used as an excuse prior to England's lost. not that I'm t blaming the English team, but the media for making this incident such a big damn deal(which cost Ronaldo's chance of being rewarded the best young player of the year). You guys lost...get over it, and move on with things that really matter in life.

Luis Figo and Cristiano Ronaldo. Pedro Pauleta is a good player too. He plays well.

I've got to say Meira....he was the heart of the Portugese defense the entire tournament - that and he played every minute of every match. About Pauleta, I think he really didn't do anything except for in the first game. He didn't score any goals after that game (I know this sounds trite, but he's a striker: it's his job).

None. My favorite player is Klinsmann (when he still plays, of course). However, I think that Cristiano Ronaldo stood the tallest among his team mates, in terms of performance and diving.
Pauleta? Sorry, I don't think that he gave his best in this WC.

FIGO!!! i've never seen a player like him before. He's great. and even though I don't personally like Cristiano Ronaldo, but he's got potential, and hopes he will be more mature than this time.

Deco. Pauleta never seems to perform in big tournament but his scoring record seems amazing.
