the least common multiple is a common multiple between 2 numbers
For example:
multiples of 3: 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 16, 18
multiples of 4: 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24

Look, the least common number there is 12. So 12 is your least common multiple
