i love avril lavigne i was just wonderin if she had a roof childhood? it seems like she never talks about her parents or sister & brother. when i heard the song nobodys home i thought is this about her? cuzz its understandable or is she just writing songs? u tell me.

Yeah she had a tough childhood. Thrust into the public eye as a teen. Living in hotels, not being able to go out a do normal teen stuff. Being criticized by the world for your talents. She is very talented, but she isn't every-ones style, and people tend to be mean. She isn't deaf, she hears this. To relate that to family, if it was me, I would keep those personal things private and out of the media. Like stars that don't let their children be photographed, she probably protects her family. Anyway, what she remembers of her earlier childhood would be pretty fond memories after all this.
As for the song, she co-wrote that song with Ben Moody. I don't know if the concept was hers or Ben's. Lyrics hers or Ben's. My feeling watching the video and listening to the lyrics is how much she could relate to the song, being on the road as a teen rock star.
As a final comment. Avril is one of the most down to earth, generous, and conscientious person that I know from her generation. I see this in her working on charities, donations, like her work on War Child, and right down to being a Canadian Olympic games ambassador.

she is one of those rich girls that gets everything that she wants, and is too board to do what she is supposed to. Have a gander at the Anne Hathoway movie called Havoc. Only she went the "punk" way instead of the Rap way. now that she realizes that she has a body that bounces and jiggles, it is the Courtney Love Complex, and it cleans up nicely. Don't get me wrong, he music is catchy and cute, But by NO means is it punk.

well, she is making money off of what she does...
