i was told to use the equation x^2=4py

Vertex (0,0) - Focus (p,0) - Diretix y= -p, p>0 >>>>>>>>x^2 =4py

one of your 2s should b negative, all the equations i have in my bk, say that one of them has to be negative, sorry
