No! Don't do it yourself! It needs to be done professionally with lasers or else it might damage your skin. I've seen people try to bleach them off and everything and that would just kill your skin! I never heard of lemon juice and vinegar though, I don't know why that would remove tattoos... But anyway, it also depends on the colors involved. Dark colors like black come out much easier than colors like yellow or pink which absorb into the skin more. So you might end up with something that looks like a bruise that doesn't go away.
How big is the tattoo and what is it of? I seen on Miami Ink (a tv show on TLC) that they can sometimes tattoo over top of an old tattoo. Like, this chick had her name and her boyfriend's name, but then they broke up. She went to a tattoo parlor and they tattooed this really pretty flower over top if the guys name. You couldn't even see it! It seriously looked like she just had her name written above a rose, you couldn't even tell what used to be there. So if it's just a tattoo you don't want anymore, see if you can just get it altered or covered. If you just don't want it there period, you need to see a professional tattoo-removal place. My boyfriend's mom had a couple tattoos removed and she said it hurt more to get them removed than it did to get them in the first place (hers were all in black, so they were able to be removed easily and you can't see where they were at all, so she was lucky). Just see what else you can do about it before resorting to laser surgery, although that's really your best option. It's also more expensive to remove tattoos than it is to get them. You could end up spending 10 times as much to get it removed as you paid to get it initially.

The only way is through laser. But then you will still see the outline because that will leave a scar of where the tattoo was.
More people should think a little longer before doing something like getting a tattoo. Thankfully I haven't regretted getting mine.

I'm sure there are some idiots who will sand it off, dig it out, or burn you until you can't recognize it I've read about places that will remove gang related tattoos for free or for very little but for some reason, I doubt that is the case here So, to try and get you to understand what kind of question this is: are there any banks in Chicago that give you thousands of dollars? are there any police in Chicago that will pay you to break the law? are there any flying pink elephants in Chicago that I could rent for my sons 178th wedding anniversary? if you are actually trying to get a gang tat removed, I'm not sure who you'd want to talk to. maybe a reputable tattoo joint in the area

They don't exist. That is the whole point of a tattoo. It doesn't come off.
Your only chance of removing it is with laser surgery. But that just leaves you with a scar in the shape of the former tattoo.

laser removal is the only way. that or you can have a cover up tattoo done. Something else put over the top of the original to cover it. but nothing works around the house.

A real tattoo? Are you kidding? I would just pay the money and have it lasered off.....chalk it up to experience and don't get anymore tattoos.

Umm... there are none. You have to have it done professionally and it hurts worse than the tattoo. Sometimes it takes more than one session, some ink may still be left and it's expensive.
