I was on the pill and got pregnant with my 6 year old daughter. I have heard that if you are on the pill and you get pregnant, you will have a girl. I was on the pill for almost 2 months until I found out I was pregnant. There was no damage to my daughter. She was born 5.5 weeks early, but that was due to other problems that I was having (nothing pill related). My daughter weighed almost 8 pounds at birth and is now a healthy happy little gal. And yes, you do get horrible sickness on the pill while pregnant. I was sick all day for almost 2 months, until I decided to go to the docs to find out. I thought I had the brown bottle flu.

i'm assuming you propose contained in terms of an unintended being pregnant the position you've been nevertheless taking birth control till you knew you've been pregnant. because the pill or injections/imlants are not from now on one hundred% affective then this does ensue. you may likely get an before experiment to analyze the toddler became ok and promises up taking it once you understand your pregnant. Condoms do no longer damage the toddler, a coil may reason issues yet i don't understand the info. it may well be unnecessary for an already pregnant female to take birth control, as being pregnant is the only time you could one hundred% guaranteee that unprotected sex received't bring about being pregnant ;)

wow...okay....do you know what is in that birth control pill? it's female hormones (artificial) it deludes your body into thinking it is already pregnant by over producing your hormones. Have you ever seen the symptons on the birth control packs? ever notice the possible symptons always look like pregnancy symptoms??
as for that one comment about throwing up the pill because your body is rejecting it, eh hem!! the reason why women throw up from "morning sickness" is because of the amount of hormones in their systems they aren't used to yet. for those women that had pregnancy symptoms during the beginning of use of birth control pills went to their doctors and the doctors lowered the dosage.
So what you are doing is overdosing your body with hormones with the birth control during pregnancy. After a few months of doing so, it can bring harm to the fetus occasionally. It doesn't happen to every baby, but it has been known to happen. it is always better safe than sorry. this is why you need to go to all your appointments and not lie to your doctors about the last time you had unprotected sex before he write you a new prescription.
just a thought....

Damage can be done, but is actually unlikely. Then again, the risk of congenital abnormalities from birth control are actually about as great, if not greater, than the chance of getting pregnant while on the pill (with perfect use). So it's not something I would take a risk of, personally. But most women do take the pill in pregnancy without knowing it with no problems at all.

not necessarily, the pill jsut gives your body hormones that prevent an egg from dropping. If an egg does drop, then the hormones haven't been shown to affect the fetus in an unhealthy way. But you should stop taking them asap, because it could cause problems with your pregnancy, and may cause a miscarriage

Not if you stop taking it as soon as you find out you are pregnant. And the person below does not have all of her info. Not all women get morning sickness, and getting pregnant while on the pill will not make someone more prone to having it.

I've always wondered about that question myself. I've been on birth control for 15 years. I've heard that if you get pregnant while on teh pill you'll end up throwing it up due to morning sickness. It's like your body rejects the pill. But I've never been pregnant so...
