I REALLY need to create a flyer that will interest senior citizens. My goal is to draw the audience to a presentation on senior care. I need to not only draw the audience, but I need to sell the service provided by the company I work for. Basically, we are a non medical senior care provider. Our caregivers play the role of companion and assist with pesonal care, light housekeeping, shopping/errands, meal prep, etc....
It's imperative I come up with something great that will produce results. I finally have an opportunity to obtain the marketing position I've always wanted, and this is my chance to get noticed! Any suggestions, tips, etc... are very much appreciated!

Make the text of the flyer personal ...

You've done so much for so many people in your life.
Isn't it your turn?
How would you like someone to take care of your every need? Someone who can be your companion and assist with personal care and picking up around the house?

etc.

You might want to mention your staff - how well and often are they trained, and are they put thru security checks before being hired? No one is going to want to let just anyone into their lives, and their homes, so let the customer know that they can feel safe and trust your caregivers.

and last, this may be obvious, but keep the text LARGE and easy to read, especially the contact information.

Make (part of) the headline into a self-qualifier. Something like:
"For Seniors Only: How To Enjoy Your Life Without the Tiring Drudgery of Housekeeping, Shopping, Cooking"

Use direct response methods to test alternate headlines, offers, copy, etc. For example, this headline may work better or worse than the first one:
"If You're Over 65, You've Earned Special Privileges. Call XXX-XXXX To Find Out How to Enjoy Retirement "

Only way to find out which works better is to test.

Good luck,
Scott.

p.s. Congrats on your opportunity... I advise you to become a serious selftaught "student of marketing." Read and learn constantly!
