I'll want to shop for clothing. I'm not looking for super high end shops but I want a variety of London shops or street vendors with trendy but affordable clothing and jewelry.

Camden is good for alternative clothing and unusual bags and jewellery. Oxford Street and Regent Street have all the main chain stores and some street vendors. There are lovely shops in Covent Garden and Leadenhall Market. There's a shopping mall in Brent Cross and lots of shops in Islington, Notting Hill, Hampstead etc.

Oxford Street;s a good choice. The shops you shouldn't be missing:

- Topshop (casual to smart wear - men/women)
- Jane Norman (extremely fashionable and well-priced women's)
- Next (best formal wear in town - men/women)
- H&M (a variety of all sorts of clothing)
