He died from heart failure that resulted from an enlarged and weakened heart because of his years of drug and alcohol abuse. Sadly, he had been clean and sober for over four years, but the damage had already been done. His was a truly inspirational story; he stopped his destructive behavior, saved his marriage, and accepted Christ into his life, and was trying to make a living in the family business. When he passed away, it was a terribly sad thing.

Eddie Guerrero had heart failure due to abuse in the past of steroids and drugs. He heart got to the point that it couldn't handle it anymore. At the end he was still on steroids. He went to sleep in his hotel room and was found dead the next day.

He hand an enlarged heart and it just gave out due to past drug issues and overexertion. He had been clean for a while and was not on drugs when he died.

His body was damaged from former drug abuse. He had been clean for awhile but the damage was already done. How said, he seemed like a decent guy when he died.

THe news said that his family members found him dead. On WWE the announcers said that he died of an apparent drug overdose.
