yes. i think most people have been in those kinds of relationships at least once in their lives. the problem is that some people - and this tends to be the case for women, mostly - have this unfortunately incurable desire to "help" someone become who they think they could be. so you put up with things you normally wouldn't because you think you can change that person, if you just give more, love more, do more...the bottom line is that when someone is intentionally mean to you, it's called ABUSE - and emotional abuse is the most insiduous form there is because there is no obvious evidence.

i've been in your shoes and have pined over an undeserving individual for much longer than he was worth. lots of people will tell you to just "get over it" and "move on with your life" - but those of us who have been in your shoes will admit that it's not always easy. i've found that the harder you try, the more you keep thinking about that person. sadly, it's one of those things that has to happen over time...

I am lucky that I have left before I got hurt to bad. I can tell you this, in most cases people are in love with the ideal or the potential that another person has. They say, I can over look these problems because they can or will be a better person. I does not work and they will not change.

They won't change becuase if they know you will stand by their side no matter what they do, they don't have any reason to change. For example, If I did not have to take a bather for you to go our on a date with me, and for you to be my boyfriend why would I take one now?

Believe that is how you feel at that moment in time. You feel that he or she is your world and you cant let go...... YES YOU CAN.... it feels so much better after a while. Couple of weeks or months down the road you will look back and see how silly it was.

Yes you can let go, i suggest you let go and move on, anyways if you love something that much you should let it go, and if it comes back it was meant for you.

you been with him and he knows how to get to you---- and you all turned out because of being with him.....it's the bait and hook scheme --- the best way to let go is to remove his hook from you--- no more contact with him.
