Cady McClain played the original character. No one ever replaced her. Here are the years that she played dixie. (1988-1996, 1998-2002, 2005-present)

no the person is right their was another girl she was a blond girl only one it a few time then they went to Candice but i remember always telling my friend she was not the original the original was a blond girl it was when they were still in the hicks but she was on it so so little i don't think any one even knows good ??? though glad I am not the only one and i was just a little kid when dixy came on the show my mom got me watching
This was before dixy came to pine valley when she was just introduce to the show but it was a blond girl and not Candice make people look it up and learn i would like to know this answer surprised no die hard fans caught this one good going.

Cady McClain. Adam Chandler married her because she could bare him a child when that character first came on the show. At the time, she worked for Adam.
