I have tons of spiders and i mean tons i slash thier webs and stomp on them and even use buy sprays but there is no way to get rid of them. They are a pain because they are in my front garden which is next to a path to my front door. My friends when they come over complain that they run into webs. One friend even goes so far that she wants to go through the garage instead. How do i get rid of them and is it dangerous to be messing with spiders and are the spiders dangerous themselves

If you get rid of the spiders you would just be inviting in all the other insects that they have been eating this entire time. I'd prefer a few spider webs over flies, gnats, mosquitos and some of the more destructive moths that eat clothing and our food.
If you really want to go to such great lengths to protect your eco-sensitive friends...wave a broom around the walkway through your garden to knock down any webs that have formed, lather, rinse, repeat.

Get a sprayer from your garden store, then put a mixture 2 parts water and1 part ammonia into the sprayer. Spray area around home and property about once a week to keep the buggers at bay. Another way its to encourage birds to your property. Make a bird sanctuary with feeders and baths. All of these can be made with recycles or bought. The birds will gobble up the spiders.

Use moth balls place the moth balls about an inch apart all the way around your front lawn and along your garden (put two or three around places you have seen webs) the added benifit moth balls also get rid of mice, snakes, and many many many other insects that can't stand the smell the bad things they smell like moth balls lol

promise it will work I live in the country where we have many creepy crawlers moth balls have gotten rid of 90% of all the insects that were around the only thing i have a problem with now is those creepy little brown crickets ewwwwww they scare me lol

If there is a lot of spiders, they must be finding a lot of food, possibly even more undesirables...insects. Try mixing cayenne pepper with soapy water and spraying it on the plants next to the path.

Try Mothballs. They don't like the smell.
