Yes, I did. I thought it was awesome - what a treat - no
commercials in the 1st one. And the miniature soldiers were cool.

I caught only pieces of the 2nd episode, because I was here.
I will definitely check it out again.

I watched last night, but just the first one about the toy soldiers and the assassin. I have read a lot of King and really feel that the movies and/or adaptations are never going to be as good as the writing.

I felt that the first one last night was a pretty good representation of the suspense that King tries to impose. The aspect of using no dialogue brought that ethereal feel to it but they still maintained the characters attributes, but that also made it harder to watch because it was easy to be distracted with no dialogue. However, the music was briliant and was in such stark contrast to the action, brilliant, it was so light and pulled from the musical figurine. That was a nice touch.

I don't think anything I watch on TV is going to be able to hold its own compared to his writing.

I fell asleep during the second one. It was a little slow going at the beginning so I must have just conked out. I know it comes on again the next two nights (but a little bit later) and I would recommend it to a King fan, but anyone else might find it a bit different from what they normally watch. I think for some King takes a little bit more getting used to.

Thanks for asking about King, I love to discuss and hear other peoples opinions on his books. There is so much going on there and ties from one book to another that it is endless fun.

I thought the first episode was pretty boring but the special effects of the plastic army men walking around was pretty neat. The second episode where the honeymooners were lost in london was good. I taped it for my husband.
