If one knows the history of the past, they can know the future. The New World Order, is the Old World Order. We are the revived Roman Empire. Watch out world......colonization and our military legions are coming your way. If you don't like it we'll say you are terrorists. We'll have the power to destroy those who protect the allegiance of their country.....the poor and the downtrodden.........anyone else who gets in the way. It is not just America but the United Kingdom and Israel. The unholy three. They are not worried because they assume that it is a different time and have WMD's to shove down the innocents throats....pity the world. The devils have come to you and in a short time will attack and take as many lives as they can, to further their agenda.

Do you seriously think that the US will avert the fate of the Roman Empire? Nope... we are headed to the altar as well... The main commonality that jumps out is the decadence of the society, especially the extravagance of the entertainment. Nowadays movies costs hundreds of millions of dollars, that is more than some countries make in one year. Theme parks exist all over the place, TV has completely replaced other healthier hobbies, such as reading, writing, sewing, knitting, gardening, walking, jogging, playing sports...etc etc etc. And what the hell are shows like Bridezilla, My Super Sweet Sixteen, and Surreal Life all about? All they show is the extremes that some people go for some attention, the amount of money spent on some of these parties or events is astounding and completely disgusting, if that is not a sure sign of the decadence of society, I do not know what is...
So, in a few years, or in not so few years, the US will decline to a shadow of its former glory and some new super power will think they are invincible and fail to learn from the mistakes of the those that preceded it. The cycle will always repeat itself.

I don't believe so. One of the areas I think is most concerning is what happened to the Roman military. At the end the Legions were comprised of too many non-Romans. Ultimately these troops began to care less about Rome than the people with whom they were garrisoned throughout the Empire.

The US military isn't there yet, but you want to take care how many conflicts you wage with an all volunteer military.

We refer to the WWII Generation as the Greatest Generation, but the truth is that everyone from the lowest dock worker to men like Jimmy Stewart served in that war. Rich and poor, famous and anonymous all joined hands to win that war and it did something positive for this nation.

We need to return to fighting wars with the entire country, because when everyone is involved the wars will be fought for better reasons and resolved a whole lot quicker.

At least they got it right in terms of empire.I don't believe they care. The current stewards of our country our concerned most about enriching themselves and 1% of Americans.Meanwhile, they have bankrupted our country with astronomical trade deficits and devalued the dollar for foreign invasions that only please oil corporations with no benefit for Americans.
