she could have some kind of nerve damage like a pinched nerve in her kneck bone spurs most of the time it has some thing to do with the spine. or it could be something to do with her kidneys what you might try to do first is go to a iriologist they are people who look into the eye and can tell by certing markings on the iris the different problems what the usually do is will get her on a body cleansing program which will clean the body of certian toxins that can be a contributing factor to her problem it is really worth it once the toxins are out of her system she will feel better all over as well her hands should be affected too ill give you a site to look at about iridology

Perhaps it is a form of gout or arthritis coming along. Sometimes though, it could be the hot weather if you are experiencing any right now. Overloaded with fluid perhaps. Cardiac problems can cause swelling of the hands and the feet too because the extra fluid is too much for the heart to pump around the body. Can happen at any age too. A few things there and it is probably one of them.See the family doctor os your best bet. :)

She is probably retaining water. Try making an appointment with her doctor. If she is having pain it may be a symptom. If she has tingling when she types or something like that it could also be carpal tunnel syndrome. She may also have an infection. Hope this helps and good luck to her.

Are they swollen all the time or does it come and go? If its all the time it could be a circulatory problem, fluid retention from too much salt, etc. If it comes and goes it could be caused by an overall allergic reaction .

Please have her run, not walk to a good cardiologist. She very possibly may be having some heart problem. Tingling in the fingers can also be a symtom. If you care about her you will insist.
