3 weeks is a very long time...if you've had nothing expelled during that time. It's "high time" to see doc because many people die from this regardless of age. However, if you are getting some out even though it's not as much as you'd like, then you could try the old-fashioned enema. Just take it little though at a time so you don't hurt yourself. This is messy so be on top of your facilities when attempting. Best to use a pinch of salt in the water and about a teaspoon of mild dish detergent too and mix in about a liter of water. Use a turkey baster just to ensure that you're doing it safely and slowly. good luck!

Drink lots of prune juice....it does work.
I suffered for a while with what I thought was constipation, prune juice didn't work. Pain in the lower stomach. I couldn't fart or have any kind of a movement. I even went so far as to using the home anemia (didn't work). I did use lots of whiskey to kill the pain but I always sobered up.
I finally went to the Doctor and it took 6 months for him to find out what the problem was. I was on Vicoden while he was trying to figure out the problem (better than whiskey). He did all kinds of tests and I found out on my own by accident what my problem was.
I have IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and I take a little pill called "Hyosyamine 0.125mg SL TABS" which don't make you high or anything but it does kill the pain in 2 minutes flat.
You might want to checkout www.webmd.com which has lots of info on everything. It's meant only as a guide but it gives you a place to start and you can talk to your Doctor about it.
Don't fart around with this kind of a problem, it can get very serious.

Psyllium powder, which you can add to yoghurt or fruit juice.
Eat plenty of dates - I usually go to the toilet within an hour of eating a handful. You can also soak ten dates in warm water, then drink the water.
Licorice also seems to have a pretty immediate effect - I find dates and licorice quicker acting than prunes.
Make sure you are drinking plenty of water; the good old 8 glasses a day.
Make sure you are getting regular exercise.
Massage your lower abdomen while you are waiting to go.
Warm baths or showers can also help.

Milk of Magnesia is good cause it doesn't cause cramping like lots of other laxitives get the original flavor not the mint as the mint is over powering and gaggy. There are also M O M pills which work just as well.

The fastest way is "magnesium citrate" . Just one bottle, you will go to the bathroom like crazy. Or you can try chinese diet tea, it works really good. But remember that don't drink too often because your body will get adapted to that, and it will not work in a long run.
One of the healthiest way i would recommend is try to eat alot of fiber foods in your diet like (vegetables and fruits). Drink alot of water. It helps to flush waste from your body.
GOOD LUCK HON.!

Drink a glass of prune juice. After that, DO NOT LEAVE YOUR HOUSE because each time you feel the urge, you'll need to get to the john fast.
