Yes... their success is both amazing and admirable. What is not is how they now bully the little players. They've forgetten what they once were.

You should, for one very simple reason...

Do you like the prices they offer? Do you shop there to save money? If the answer is yes, they provide a needed service.

As a former retail manager, the U.S. is littered with stores that failed by ignoring their customers, either through bad pricing or the wrong selection. Wal-Mart has thrived over the years, based on Sam Walton's philosophy of low prices. It may not work forever, but it seems to be working now.

Yes, they started from ground zero. HAd great ideas and a great way to promote it. They weren't huge overnite
