Sometimes the skin tissues that seem to curl up together makes the odor matched with poor hygiene.

Why do we stink?
Well, our teeth are falling out. We have gum disease. We have bowel control issues. We have trouble reaching about to clean ourselves properly. We slip and fall in the shower and break our hips and the folks at the hospital hate giving us those sponge baths because of the wrinkles, moles, varicose veins, and ear hair.
Fortunately though, we have been around quite awhile and have already seen all manner of misbehavior and poor manners that may present themselves in our fellow man and woman, and we are not much moved by it.

Because they wear that cologne and perfume that came out n the mid 40's if you know what I'm talking about!!!LOL

Old people can barely move, they tire easily so they can't clean themselves the way they use to.

It's either too much Bengay, they forget to do their laundry so the smell is in their clothes, or they have no bowel/flatulence control anymore haha...don't worry...you'll get there one day!

maybe with age they loose their sense of smell and no longer can tell if they are properly cleaning themselves....it can also be a change in body chemisty that may change with age.
