Has anyone seen "The Exorcist", if you did, what did you think about it? I watched it when I was 10 and i got so f****** scared. I slept in my parent's room for like 6 months, and every time I saw her face, i couldn't sleep at night. And I still do. After watching that movie, horror movies are no longer scary for me, i can watch a really scary movie and not be scared ir anything, but if i watch the exorcist again....omg.

to: juanita2__whatever. You are wrong, not all horror movies are make believe, how about real stories like: the exorcism of emily rose and other movies.

It is, to me, without a doubt the scariest movie of all time. When I saw it for the first time in a movie theatre most people had their feet up on the seats. I had to sleep with the light on for almost a year.My daughter when she was young would have slumber parties and her and her friends would always rent Pet Semetary. They'd brag about how scary Pet Semetery was. I got so sick of that movie that one night I said okay do you girls want to watch a real scary movie. So I rented the Exorcist. For the first 45 minutes they kept saying, this isn't scary, I'm bored. Well need I say more those girls got to know what a real scary movie was all about. Cured them of Pet Semetery.

I felt the same way when I watched Michael Jackson's Thriller. I was totally afraid of that music video. Exorcist is an excellent horror movie. It freaked me out especially when Regan was spinning her head around and did that spider walk down the stairs. Holy **** that part scared the hell out of me. I was totally frightened when I was a kid as well.

that is one of my absolute FAVORITE movies of all time--then again, i love great horror flicks, so that is probably why. you should watch the new edition one now, if you think you could make it through it. they added a lot of deleted scenes and hidden images that pop up on the screen quickly. love, love, love it! you should definitely watch it again. invite a friend over so you won't be scared. :-)
