This is one of the most original books ever written and the movie is not a disappointment due to the magnificent performances of Ossie Davis and the man, Bruce Campbell, as (possibly) respectively, JFK and Elvis, the King of Rock and Roll. Cheesy special effects are used for good effect and the story just doesn't let up.

I made the mistake of renting it once. Couldn't get past the first 15 mins. Horrible...rather watch an info-commercial or the home shopping channel..
