It'd be pretty dumb to call in lazy to work, don't you think?
Or to tell a new mom, "God, I've never seen an uglier baby!"
Or how about when your friend asks, "Why do you think he doesn't love me?" and you know darned well it's because she's just not very lovable.

absolutely. when people ask "do i look ok in this"? they even want you to lie, most people can't handle the truth and often don't ask the questions. i think everybody lies at some stage of their life. little or small. i think to save someones feelings it is ok. if someone asked you "do you think i'm ugly"? what are you going to say.. Yes????

Yes. Like you'd tell your wife she's still as pretty although she's nine months pregnant just to make boost her confidence and not affect the baby.
