It is not difficult but you need to know how to set jumpers, partition and format the drive, if you are careless you could format the wrong drive and erase your operating system. I have used 2 hdd for years, Now I have 3 the third for backups, with the cheap prices of hdd it pays to have multiple in your system

adding a drive to a PC is not easy if you don't uindestand the jumper configuration or drive cable slection process. I would recommend you call a friend or take it to a PC shop to have a new drive installed and formated. If you arte not sure how to install athe drive there is a risk you could format the wrong drive and lose your data.
