"wemen" aren't the only ones who wear makeups. Some guys do too. And sometimes, just sometimes, if you look really closely you will find women wearing it too!

well thats coz women are kind of serious about their appearance and it also gives them a lot of confidence. moreover pretty women have their own established respect and popularity.
but this applies for men too.
u think men use less amount of cosmetics than women? no way!!!
see the basic idea is that people want to look awesome and attractive. so makeup is common for men and women.

Men also wear make up,as you can see the men models,they have even surface of faces,tha is because of make up and their lips and eyebrows are enhanced too as well as the actors while making movies and tv shows! TV anchors in sports and news event are wearing make up too! In some occassions like wedding and other programs,men are wearing make up just to enhance and make their faces clean and glow but not as heavy or colorful as women!Chinese men! also uses make up in their theatre shows!But as typical,mostly men does not wear make when they go to work and occassions because they find it,very feminine or they will be typecast as gay!

Men wear makeup too. Lots of male rock bands do too especially.

i've seen a lot of guys who wear makeup. They're usually Gothic , but I don't think it looks bad really. Unless they wear foundation . I hate that stuff.

Tradition and social pressures, although a long time ago, both men and women wore face powder, blush (it was called rouge, then), and sometimes lip stick.

THERE ARE A LOT OF MEN THAT WEAR IT....THE GAY CROWD DOES WHEN THEY GO OUT...I HAVE BEEN TO A GAY BAR AND THERE ARE ALOT OF THEM WITH MAKE UP ON...ABOUT THE CROSS DRESSERS...THEY PUT IT ON TOO.......AND SOME OF THE MALES HO'S (CHICKEN HEADS) WEAR IT....PUT IT WAS MAINLY CREATED AND MADE FOR FEMALE...BUT EVERYONE HAS A RIGHT OF CHOICE.....

I'm not sure but its one of those things thats considered feminine. The women do have that advantage of improving their looks 500% where we dont.
