you can definitely do both. loving yourself doesn't have to be equated to being obsessed with yourself / self centered. if you exercise it's a sign of loving yourself. if you read and find ways to grow and improve yourself, those are signs as well. in many cases hating yourself may be for not doing something that you would be proud of, and in doing so are showing that you do care about yourself (aka. love yourself).

I am what I am sometimes I like it and sometimes I don't like certain aspects of my personality but when I see I am in the wrong I try and change for the better. It been a very hard road for me to try and accept myself. I have spend a lot of my life trying to mold myself into something society and everyone will accept until I got tired of the stupid facade.

I love myself but I do hate myself when it comes to decision making. Its so hard to make a choice when your heart and your brain are not communicating well!

I've definitely never loved myself. I certainly don't hate myself, I've just never been the type to have statues and fountains and portraits modeled after me. Of course, if someone else did it........:)

i love myself and its because im single theres only one of me lol besides if u don't love yourself how can u possibly get someone else to love you sounds like some low self-esteem s*** to me

u can't realli love urself...cuz think about it...can u realli pity urself...can u make urself feel beta and it realli works.....thats y u have to love others...and they will love u back....that's what friends are for....
