Get you a bag of moth ball,s,,rat,s and mice hate the smell of them,,they really work,,i try ed ,ti because i was in doubt,,but after they left my car alone i was convinced,,always,s keep fresh one,s in there,,i wish you luck,,hope this help,s

I used a 22 cal. rifle; I live in the Arizona with dust storms and dust devils. I plan to put up 2 foot wall of sheetmetal around vehicles that they can't climb with junk metal buried under wall they can't dig through. Too windy, too hot for garage.

Disconnect battery and smoke that *****. they sell smoke posison for rats..the downside is that if they decide to die with dignity in ur car....they will rot and leave a pleasent smell behind..

place ratsack or other rodent poison pellets in your engine bay where possible and in the area where you store the vehicle.

the obvious answers is, you will have to kill the rats by trapping or poisoning. find where they are living and kill them.
