1. A Swiss army knife with all the accessories
2. Flint for starting fires
3. A tarp for shelter
4. A pot for cooking
5. Clear plastic sheeting for making a sun-still (water purification).

A Notebook; a Pen or a pencil so I can write my experiences on the island...a book; my guitar and a bed complete w/ pillows, sheets and blankets... Heheh... Oops, that's more than 5... but then I consider the bed (with all the trimmings) one item, heheh... ;o)

how long will i be there? is this a vacation? if only 5-7 days..sunblock, water, bug repellent, antibiotics, toothbrush. If it's for much longer, sunblock, water, bug repellent, antibiotics, survival guide.
