Idon't use the n word.other black people call each other by the n word because it doesn't mean the same thing to them as it may mean when it comes from someone of a different race. black people use it as slang, when others use it it is seen as something negative because it was used in a negative way during slavery and still today. it doesn't offend me when someone that's not of my race use the n word because that's the emotion that the person that said it wants me to feel. it's just a word, i'm not getting all worked up because pf another persons ignorance.

We gave that word power. Think about it. We can say it and you can not. Imagine if a black guy called you the "N" word. You think it over several times before you dare say it back. Its like he has a hex on you and you can't talk ...
That word gives white people anxiety.

It's a derogatory term created by whites. By calling each other the name, but not allowing whites to use it, they are taking back the power they lost when the word was created.

Because they are ignorant. They all talk about respect and dissing people, and that's all they do to each other and to other races. They need to go back to the Golden Rule ..."do unto others" and maybe they will get a little respect.

Beats me, I think that is a stupid sounding word! I mean they say don't ever say it if you white but thats like putting a Banana in front of a Monkey and saying don't eat that, you know he going eat it!

so many other people have asked this same question, its getting kind of annoying. Im black and i dont use the word, i cant stand it and dont see the point. you shouldnt steroetype, not every black person uses the word, many find it offensive.
