Why are thirteen year olds treated like crap???????

Unfortunatly everyone get's treated like crap these days. The only thing you can do really is to take it all in stride...oh and don't listen to what the the_bat_freak up there said that person is a moron. Your still a kid your not supposed to worry about working and crap like that right now. Don't worry about Kelly L either she probably acted just liked that when she was 13.

Just kill people with kindness (not literally) and hopefully people will stop treating you like dirt.

i remember thinking i was treated like crap too when i was 13 but it all has to do with being a rebel..like i was..but it didn't lead me to anywhere but down the wrong road. if i had the chance to be that old again i would have listened to everyone around me besides being stubborn and thinking that people were being mean to me! they aren't treating u all like crap, they just know what's good for you! the only thing that made me realize that my parents and everyone who i thought treated me like crap were actually doing what was right for me is ending up in an abusive relationship and the only people that were there for me were them! i got out of it and now im 8 months pregnant and my life couldn't be any better...because i have people who are always going to be there for me no matter what and i got my life on track, im going into nursing and doing what's right for me and my baby.. enjoy being your age and try not to go down the wrong road..i know how easy it is to be stubborn and a rebel...

Because 98.9% of the time, 13 year olds 'don't know their place'. They think that to be a teenager they have to cuss really loud, wear really short skirts, and give it up really easy. Then when older kids get annoyed with them or adults look down on them, they complain that it's society's fault and in no way their's.

My only advice is to just act your own age, realize that no matter how hard you try the older kids still won't like you or will pretend to like you then mock you when you're not around, and stop complaining.

because you are almost useless. you have no jobs, dont pay for your own meals. it's always the parents. and the least you can do, you ingrate, is to study hard so that someday you'll have a decent job yourself and mom and dad will be so proud for raising you well. but all you wanna do is to have some fun. at whose expense? your poor parents. if you want to do all the nasty things that you wanna do, then move out of the house first, go look for a job and have fun.

don't get sad, I'm 40 and get treated like crap most of the time. I always treat people well and never intentionally hurt anyone, still get treated bad. Guess just unlucky...........

dont worry, were 13 too. most parents dont understand the pressure and everything else that goes on in school and with your friends. And when they dont understand, it develops conflict between one another. it gets worse when you get older, b/c u develop an attitude and are under a lot of stress.

honestly because you all think your hot [insert 4 letter word here]and since you're in 7th or 8th grade, you think youre better than the kids younger than you but then the high school kids hate you. face it, either way no one respects you.

becuz u are becoming a grown person so we try to ruffin you up and get u ready for life or atleast thats y i do that to my brothers and sisters
