I believe who ever makes another person happy no matter WHAT RACE !LET IT DO WHAT IT DO! your family will come to accept your choice black or white as long as you find someone that's good to you in time the race issues will DIE OUT that depends on how strong your family feels about the situation but their love and trust for you should play a big part in what happens.peace

While respecting your families wishes are important, matters of the heart are not ours to choose. If you fall in love with a good white man, your parents will come around, so long as he respects you. Love is the best way to end prejudice and misunderstanding between the races.

Date individuals, not races. Your parents aren't the only ones who look down on interracial dating and you have to be prepared for that from many people for the rest of your life and even your childrens lives, if that's the way things work out. If you love someone enough and both of you can handle people like your parents disapproval, then go for it.

Do what you feel is right. Never look back, and never regret anything you've done. Regrets are a waste of time, and life is already to short. The race problem is antiquated, if you find someone you really love, just go with it. Sometimes you only get one.

You should decide for yourself. It doesn't matter the race of the person as long as both of you are happy. *The choice is yours because you are the one you is going to spend the rest of your life with this guy and him being black does not automatically suggest that he will make you happy*. Happiness is the key!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, ultimately you will be the one to wake up next to them every morning. You will live with the individual and once your are an adult you chose how much you make your family a part of your life.
Life is too short, not to be happy.
Usually, even if they are resistant at first, and find you are happy or the grandchildren come --- you would be surprised how their opinions change.

You should let no one stand in your way. No one can control your feelings but you. In the end, if you go by what your family preaches you"ll be miserably unhappy and wished you went for who your heart beat for.

you have to make your own decisions in life. If you let others, like your family make your decisions you might not be happy and you will not own those decisions of beliefs. Do what you want you want to do not what others want you to do.
