Suit and tie, match the shoes as well. Be prepared. Know what to ask and have a copy of his resume with him. Be confident, upright, positive, but not too cheerful. Good luck!

He can't go wrong wearing a suit. It is better to be overdressed...can always remove the coat during the interview.

i think either one would probably be fine. if it's going to be hot/humid then maybe throw on the suit to keep sweat from showing or stick with the shirt and tie to keep cooler (just with a clean t-shirt underneath). good luck to you both!
