Simple, because, theres not oil or anything of interests in those countries. The war on "Terror" pleaseee, thats an insult for the worlds comunitys intelligence.

First of all they started in afghanistan and ended up in irak !!! .... did they lost the map or something. oh no sorry ...... I got to continue what daddy left.

Second: Where the hell is Osama ???

Third: Where the hell are the Weapons of Mass Destruction ??

And then you wonder why the world hate the us, simple, they say they wanna help ..... but what they truly mean is they wanna have something from that and thats the nicest thing to do it.

If you really wanna free the world from terror, go to cuba, go to colombia and stop all those narcos that are getting richer and richer with all the drugs sold in US.

IF YOU REALLY WANNA HELP THE WORLD HELP THEM AND DONT TAKE FROM THE LITTLE ONES, THAT LITTLE THEY HAVE.

oddball: you were about, doesnt mean you did and teachers in this country dont teach comunism as it is.

Ardyferret: Irak is a country not a terrorist group Get your facts right, they didnt find any wepons there. The oil plants are the most watched of all things by the army even more than goverment buildings.

scottFL007: Sir, if the US even think about invading Venezuela, they would have the whole world comunity on them and not only that, there are other countries that defend Venezuela and they would defend them and us may be in trouble.

Chris: I dont understand if the problem was in Afghanistan how they ended up in irak. One man Clown the most powerful country in the world and you could not even find him, pleaseee. If you really want to fight the war on drugs, go to the root of the problem, Colombia produce 90% of the drugs consumed in the US, why they dont invade and take down the militia that terrorice the people of their own country. And I didnt know this was grammar class teache

Wow, for someone who has such a big mouth, you certainly don't have many facts straight. The United States Government agreed under the terms of the treaty after the Cuban Missile Crisis that It will NEVER invade Cuba, EVER.
1. We are still in Afghanistan, and have been throughout the entire operation against Saddam's regime.
2. Afghanistan is a giant nation that is mostly mountainous. Finding Osama is the proverbial needle in a haystack.
3. Syria, we have documentation from Saddam's ministers themselves that say they are.
4. We've been fighting the narcos worldwide with the war on drugs in the US for over a decade, and have done a pretty damn good job making the market for these cartels smaller.
5 Your Grammar is an "insult for the worlds comunitys intelligence"

They believed they had weapons and supplies to build nuclear weapons, and they did find some there, as well as many other weapons. They are a terrorist group, so if they had those, we could definitely be expecting another attack on America.

I do think that America does plan for the whole world to be free someday. It just takes a while, and lots of support and careful planning.

If anyone believes this war is about oil, they've very ignorant. We are not getting oil there, or the prices would have lowered at the pump. It's really ridiculous. We are not profitting from this, or we'd wouldn't be hearing about all the complaints about the amount of money being spent.

Well prepare to be insulted. Iraq is a Country, not Irak. If You can't get that right, chances are you are not going to fare too well with the rest of your l-----o--------n--------g, rampage.

Iraq, after not responding to the previously agreed upon Weapons Inspections, keeping the Inspectors waiting for days at a time, all documented on television. Was then after too much time, determined to be a Clear and Present Danger. Along with the Other Atrocities Saddam, and His Son's committed.

It has been documented, dumb*ss, that weapons have been found and recovered. As one Solider put it, He has personally seen enough chemical, and biological weapons recovered to fill the Louisiana Super dome.

Here is an idea, why don't You pull Your head out of Your backside, and go look for Osama Bin Laden Yourself.

Oh please don't say anything bad about Me. I might just cry.

Oh wait, that would be You.

OK I get where your coming from but it's not the U.S.'s fault it's not like every person here is in agreement with Bush's policies or decisions if your going to rant and rave about my country do a little research Bush is at an all time low in his popularity polls and most of the U.S. government and his fellow politicians are against him. Also in most of the elections and votes that we've held the American people have shown that we are against the war in Iraq.
And IF your going to bash the U.S. for being in Iraq you should consider who and what we would have been continuing to support by doing nothing if we hadn't have entered Iraq when we did I mean looking at Saddam's on reign he was worse than Hitler.
Yes your right that we didn't accomplish what we set out to in Afghanistan and so far that has proven to have been nothing but a waste of human life and lots of money.
Also I agree that we should take action against other countries who are also committing act of injustice on a grand scale.
But u need to realize that,
One. Not every American is a bad person simply because our president is an asshole.
Two. Most of us do what we can to change things that we don't agree with including a war that we don't agree with.
Three. Why the hell are you gonna ask a question when your so pompous as to assume that you already know the answer.
And if your an American yourself why are you so ignorant about the things which seem to be important to you and why aren't you doing more about changing things you disagree with than ranting and raving on yahoo like the little kid you probably are.

I point you to Chris' statement above.. and add this...

use the following link to learn some history about your country, war does not end normally... it continues in small amounts through cease fire aggreements. we and the U.N. had a cease nfire aggreement with Iraq in which he agreed to fly no military planes, and not fly over certain areas of Iraq. abandon any nuclear advancement, destroy all WMD's and open it's self freely and completely to inspection by the U.N., sanctions were implaced so that the country could be persuaded to comply with the cease fire agreement, they did not and after 10 years of sanctions it was learned that the Iraqi people were the only ones suffering from the sanctions, now Saddam was refusing inspection of key facilities... and intelligence was circling the world that terrorists like the one recently killed in Iraq were using it as a training base. with common knowledge being that Saddam gave $25,000 to every suicide bomber's family from palistine. this is easily considered endorsing and funding terrorism...

now with all this said the Liberals would rather have kept hurting the people of Iraq with sanctions instead of standing up for what's right. and despencing with a dictator...

as far as the rest of your question... the oil is a joke... if we pumped 1 gallon into a ship and pointed it west Bush would be tarred and feathered... he wouldn't even dream of it... no one cares about their oil but the middle easterners... as stated above the biggest importer of oil in America is Venesuala.

now... why don't we get of the pot and fix the rest of these crackhead countries...? I don't know.. personally I think we should give warning to every un-free nation in the world and put them on notice to have free elections with in one year or else their government would be removed... we should tell isreal to get out of palestine... all of it... lol.. give the jews alaska... there's room... and it's a great place to live...

africa should be united and given some serious guidance...

central america is a breeding ground for comunisim...

oh yeah and china and north korea... oh yeah... big time issues there... those people need a revolution...

anyway keep up the mindless drivil... you're good at and always do what you're good at...

and stated above that "most politicians disagree with Bush"... if that's true, then I'm with Bush because I trust them less than I trust him... he's a brave man to me... standing up for what's right normally puts you alone and mocked...

I have a friend on his 3rd tour of duty in Iraq... Americans have no idea what is really going on there... none... you are the pigeons of the media... have you seen one story about a hospital? one story about a school? a new business? any piece of infrastructure rebuilt? nope... all you see is the bombs and the direct words and videos of terrorists...

God Bless the freedom fighters of the American Military...

Do you think about these theories before you repeat them? Or do you just jump to these conclusions because they fit your impression of who you agree with?

If we wanted oil, the most logical place to invade would have been Venezuela. And we'd have had a good excuse, since the president down there has torn up the nation's constitution. Venezuela is also a much more significant supplier of oil to the U.S. than Iraq ever was or could be, and it's a whole lot closer. Plus, the supply was more "at risk" than it was from Iraq. So the entire logic of your argument is shot.

Think about these arguments before you spout partisan garbage. I don't agree with the invasion of Iraq either, but it clearly had little or nothing to do with oil.

We cant invade protectorets. It would be, by definition, an act of civil war. Besides, they havent done us any harm, though Niether did IraQ. Besides, we tried with cuba in the 1960's and failed because the people of cuba are happy to serve this government. The Iraq people did not support Saddam.
Mind you, I dont think any of this is our business when we've got kids shooting eachother on our city streets, but your suggestion of invading other countries based on thier government is no different than Bush invading Iraq for the Oil.

We were about to invade Cuba during the Cuban Missle Crisis in the early 60's. The Russians puting Nuke missles there made them a serious threat and we were going to invade until the Ruskies decided to pull the missles out.

If the Liberal schools and teachers had taught you anything other than Socialism and Communism, you would know this.

Cuba and other small countries havent got oil pipelines that the frech and german and the russians built so that haliburton and the tax payers can operate and osama ben ladens family would have been a company in the bidding before haliburton invaded and we dissed the frech and demonised them and germany so that they couldnt get the pipe line and their investment back

I'll add to the question.

Why is our President close family buddies with the royal dictatorship in Saudi Arabia and why does he maintain friendly business ties with the dictatorship in Angola?
