The Pittsburgh Steelers are the best team in the nation. They may not have the most talented QB (although he isn't half bad either, eh?), they may not be stationed in the most glamorous, rich city. But what's special is that they have the most loyal fans, and many team members that wouldn't play anywhere else. Take Jerome Bettis. A few years ago he received a major pay cut. He was getting paid very few by NFL standards. Yet he stayed in Pittsburgh; he loved the people, the team, and Coach Cowher. Hines Ward stated "I won't play for anyone other than Coach Cowher." At the Pittsburgh pep rally after they won the Super Bowl, 200,000 people showed up to line the city streets. For a city the size of Pittsburgh, that's a lot. People in the Pittsburgh area (I know many) said that one school district even closed down for that day. There were black and gold streamers at the airport. Every person owns a Super Bowl Champions t-shirt. You may hate the Steelers, but they have won 5 super bowls. =]

So you claim it is piss yellow but you cheer on a team that is named for the color of crap? Really now at least we don't admit we are nothing but crap. Anyway nothing like liking a great team no matter where you are, which is why the Browns have so few fans and are upset that there are so many of us Steeler fans.

I'm from Pittsburgh, so naturally I am, always have, and always will be a die-hard Steelers fan (anything else would be blasphemy). My belief is that it's fine to like any team that you want as long as you are loyal. What irritates me are the people who change their favorites teams annually to correspond with who's on top in the rankings. But hey, if you've been a fan for a while and plan to continue to be a fan, all the more power to ya'. At least we know that you have very good taste :) Go Steelers!

I am a lifelong Steelers fan. I live in VA but I love the Steelers! The number of Steelers fans where I live could have started our own pep rally! No other team has such loyal fans and players. Nothing wrong with a Steeler fan living abroad, and plus I don't see how anyone could switch there favorite teams based on where they live or how good the team is. A loyal fan supports the same team, no matter how well they are playing. GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!(Oh, and fyi it IS gold! If your pee is that color, you should see a doctor.)

I live in Chicago and love the Steelers too. If it was the Bears in the last superbowl, I would feel the same way as you. They are a sweet team with a rich history, and they play with a lot of heart and swagger.

Yes it is very wrong because seattle should hate the steelers but i guess its cool if u wanna be a rebel. I just don't get how you people have the perception that it is black and gold when in actuality it is clearly black and piss *** yellow. But before i go off on how much i hate the steelers and how their fans spread like the plague i will just end with a simple go browns. The Brown and Orange dynasty begins now! Win one for Cleveland Romeo!
