any time there are some good flowers near my snout. metaphorically speaking, everyday i notice how good things can be and dont take any of it for granted.

Today as i was cutting the lawn, some roses
from my bush gave their last scent as the hot
sun drained their smell, to catch the last scent
of a flower before it crumbles off its stem is to
grasp the way of nature taking back her beauty ..

I would have to say on April 24 for National Secretary's Day.
I walked into the office and there was a wonderful bouquet on my desk. Smelled great for almost 2 weeks

I don't stop to smell the flowers cause i got allergies to so many small things that i shouldn't risk doing it

purely earlier I walked in the living house this evening. I grew them with the help of the door for that very purpose. they are evening-scented stocks and smell like heady midsummer sexiness. i'd opt to drop in sluggish-action from a secure yet exhilarating correct onto a mattress coated with them to an accompaniment of Baroque music. there's a lot attractiveness in the international, guy! disgrace we stuff all of it up. grab it even as you could.

When I walked thru my dining room I smelled the vase of flowers my hubby got me for our anniversary!!

It happily cannot be avoided, whether or not one takes the time to stop, as there are many, many huge stands of very fragrant star jasmine (trachelospermum jasminoides) just outside almost every window.

Actually I did that this morning! Usually I am in such a rush to make my connection that I hardly notice them. But today, these pretty little fuscia coloured ones beckoned me over and I had a sniff!! Most delightful!

Just today....I always take time to smell flowers. I'm so glad I don't have allergies to them.....
