Israel starting bombing Lebanon today. Israel stated the abduction of 2 of their soldiers by them was an act of war.
I'm thinking that we are going to let/hope the whole N.Korea and Iran thing chills but that we can't sit by and watch one of our allies go to war without helping?
What do you guys think?

Great question. Ignore the ignorant.
They probably won't need our help, but we have resources in the region already.
We have enormous capability in Iraq. If Israel needed us, two fronts would open in a matter of days. Iran is sweatin bullets as well.
I'd go into battle with those guys anytime. Man-for-man, they are the best military in the world. They don't have our firepower, but they are complete badasses.
I'm all for going to help Japan as needed as needed as well. I hate dictators, terrorists, and evil-doers in general.

no ,while we are going to the jesse jackson school at the university of"keep hope alive" we are biting off more than we can chew we are not as strong as we are made out to be and the politicians are a bunch of b and c students fightng in something we can't and won't win should have been out of iraq 2 weeks after the war started it was a diversion

Hell,we have been helping Israel. For years, we have given them billions of dollars, war machines and our government. We are sending in our naive Gentile men and women to eradicate their Abrahamic brothers.....the Arabs. The ethnic cleansing will fall on the Gentiles heads. But Israel like the serpent who beguiled Adam and Eve will look to be the innocent one. But God will not turn his head. He will bring destruction to these Anti-Christ people. They have turned away from the prophets in search of the Golden Calf.

AND PLACED MINES ON THE ROAD SO THAT NO ISRAELI SOLDIERS COULD GET TO THE SCENE. A MINE SEVERELY DAMAGED A TANK AND KILLED A FURTHER 4 ISRAELI SOLDIERS. The last thing Israel needs is the US A's help. They have a damn good military and they can take care of themselves.

Our military is already helping Israel. We allow the IDF pictures from US keyhole satelites. We often give intelligence to the IDF. (Often, the Israeli intelligence services give us more info they we provide them.)
We have also provided the IDF tanks, muntions, and training.
