I wear glasses and now I think im getting braces what should I do I don twant to look like a geek!!!?

If you are really concerned, you can always get contacts instead of glasses. But honestly, you shouldn't worry about it. Anyone who thinks you look like a geek because you have braces and glasses is a loser, and they are probably insecure about their own appearance. Braces honestly aren't THAT bad; you'll get used to them and forget how it felt before you had them on.

And I second the "confidence!!" suggestion. If you seem self-assured and confident with yourself, others will pick that up and admire you for it.

Go and get a great hair cut and good makeup. Style your hair and pick you glasses frames that are cool and make you look like an FBE agent. You know, the beautiful girl under the glasses.It is worth the bother to know that one day you will have contacts or even corrected vision and no braces and be really gorgeous. Oh yeah, check out your wardrobe too.

You can buy a pair of really cool and chic glasses and don't wear them all the time. And having braces doesn't make you a geek...just in case talk to your friends about the clothes you wear. You might think that they are cool and up to date, but your friends can take you shopping for some hott clothes. then you won't be a geek...not that you are.

once you're nevertheless in eighth grade, then certain, you'd be teased. and also you know why? because midsection schoolers are immature and are experimenting new procedures to tease people in case you want to make sure how time-honored they are typically. once you get to extreme college, you'll see people have a mind. That isn't geeky. I've never been in the same position as you, but if you feel uncomfortable with both, get contacts. And the braces will pass....it will be a while, but soon they'll be gone and your smile will be prettier than ever.

go to ur eye doctor to see if u can get contact. i had glasses and braces at the same time, but believe me u dont wanna know how i looked. get contact before u get braces. and be careful on what color of braces u get. if u get green it will look like u have spinish in ur teeth.

You can get contacts if you want. I have that problem too! I dont feel very self concious about braces though, because many people (even the popular ones) at my school have them as well!
