If life was just a game with the one we call God the designer, would it be true? I mean, there are a lot of physical anomalies, paradoxes, and etc. which would play out to be "glitches" in the games of today. As we continue on to Virtual Reality, couldn't this life be a virtual reality with the same attributes of the video games of today and of tomorrow?

I wonder this lots. Apparently many other people have wondered about it too, like Shakespeare (All the world's a stage...). I think it's ok to think about it, as long as it doesn't get you permanently down, you know? But there are all kinds of good books written centuries ago and more recently about people who wonder the same thing. Do some research on the internet, read some of the philosophers, and join the stream!!

You must have liked the "Matrix".

Heres a thought, if you die outside the game what then? Are you in a completely new game?

Your question presupposes that you can live outside of God's influence, outside the game.

How is that possible?

If He designed every thing then perhaps all you have done is reached a new level in the game.

The thing about virtual reality is that you can take off the headset and return to reality.

The thing about life is you don't know where you are going should you jack out.

Think about it.

This sounds much like "The Matrix". It is possible, but I think (if you believe in god as I do) that the difference would be that in a video game or anything else man-made the flaw is that it is man-made. God is "perfect" and that would cancel the possibilities of "bugs" or "errors". As for whether life as we know it is a flawed "game", I would suspect that the perfection of the "game" is that there is no imperfection, although it appears that there are. You must remember that one cannot have joy without misery, love without hate, or life without death. I hope to have evoked thought even if it is disagreeable.

to answer your first question, yes, i have wondered both of your other questions. Once when i heard the song 'Master of Puppets' by Metallica, again when i saw 'Devils Advocate'
and of course 'The Matrix' i think that life is very much like a game
and just like a game you must follow the rules to achieve the results that you seek. About the whole God thing, i think that He created natural laws that govern over all, it gets very deep, but in short we all have to play by those rules, if not there are consequences.
