muffler and pipe attatched to the muffler are fine.

I am going to assume you are calling the beginning pipe that starts from the exhaust manifold to the catalytic converter. Some model cars has a "woven" section in this section of pipe and must be there to absorb the flexing from the vehicle being a front wheel drive vehicle. This section is usually a "dealer item" only, and could be pricey, plus the labor to have it installed unless you are able to install it yourself.

go to your local auto store and ask for a qote if you can't find it there there is allways ebay.

check a boneyard ask them to do a network search if they don't have it.
