"Jesus wept". No, I think people you care for should be worth crying over, even if they don't mean to make you cry.

Tears set us apart from all the other animals. It is what makes us human. If you really think about it, you're not really crying for a man or a woman but rather for the situation we find ourselves in. You love someone but they don't seem to see you the same way. You are getting married to the person you've searched for your whole life after a long and bumpy road. Your child puts his/her arms around you and your heart is filled with overwhelming love. You anguish when the person you love is in pain. There will always be occassion to cry, so do. The tendency is to keep everything inside and tears remind us to feel. So I believe that you are worth the tears that you cry as they will define how you see the people in your life emotionally. Weigh this with some common sense and you should do just fine.

Well yes and no. People that you come across in life who treat you bad and do you wrong are not worth your tears. However if you have kids or a husband who treats you well, for many years and you lose him to death, he is worth your tears. That shows that you loved him and he is a special person in your life. But crying over all the losers is a waste of time and energy.

No it is not true. Anyone you care about is worth your tears along with your laughter. Also, someone can make someone else cry without even trying to,and sometimes they don't even know they have made the other person cry.

I think it is a lovely sentiment to want to believe in & possibly keep in mind if you do love someone. However the very people you hold so dear in life are worth alot of your tears & efforts & where I hope most dont intend to make their loved ones cry - it happens. You dont cry over opinions thoughts of people you dont care about - But if you care you are more likely to hurt & cry over.

No. The only ones worth your tears are the ones you love. And those you love will inevitably make you cry. You cry because you care. If you don't cry, then you never cared.

No. Because the person who is worth your tears is kind of like your soul-mate, right? And, the one's who are worth it will make you cry if they leave you. Not intentionally though.

no. tears are not just caused by sad or angry feelings. the writer neglected to consider tears of joy. that special man/woman is worth tears of joy, and is definitely going to make you cry them at some time if they are worth it.

I don't think it's true. Any person that you love will cause you tears at some point. Any relationship is going to have upsetting moments, it's what makes a relationship stronger.

No...

1st off... When someone dies... if they don't make you cry... they will.

So just qualifying that they have to be alive needs to be added to this statement.

Secondly, while I know they mean sadness... there are tears of joy... I've seen 'em.

And lastly... Tears are your expression of how you feel... It is unreasonable to assume that someone will not make you cry sometime... It's natural.

However... If we're just talking in generalizations, and food for thought, or 'Hey, that's a clever quote.'... sure.

No way. My husband has made me cry, but he is completely worth it. Just so long as the person doesn't make you cry often.
