I booked a room through them, paid with my VISA credit card, the card cleared by bank a day before the trip, got there and checked in. Then left when I came back at 11 that night I was told the MASTERCARD that Yahoo - Travelocity paid with was declined. I was locked out of my room for over 2 hours. FINALLY they sent another credit card to pay. I have complained but no one is willing to give me a credit for this, the only thing I have received is a 25.00 gift card through travelocity, like I would use them again EVER!! Of course it was at the Days Inn and I won't even begin to say how rude they were until they realized I was right and it wasn't my fault. My children and I had to wait until after 1:00 a.m. to get back to the room I had paid for. I was so upset and ashamed because through the evening when other people were checking in, the lady kept saying, your credit card was denied. I tried to explain, mine wasnt and even showed the email where I paid with a visa!!

About Day Inn. The only thing you can do is write a letter to their headquarter and explained about ur situation and their agent's attitude.

Complaining to desk personnel at budget establishments such as Days Inn will get you know where. Nor will telephone calls. Do some homework and arm yourself with some information. Find out who the CEO of the organization is, put together a log of when and how you've attempted to resolve this, then sit down and compose a well written letter addressed to the CEO. Be detailed, but don't be argumentative or bitter. You should see better results this way.
