That would be stupid and inhumane. Unfortunately some people actually do keep big cats as pets sometimes. Even worse, those cases often result in injury or death for humans and therefor the death of the cat as well. Other times the animal is often "released back into the wild" or given up to zoos only to attack people, die because it cannot survive in the wild, get shot out of fear, or be kept in a small cage the rest of its life.

Yes... yes I did.. thsi question conjures up so many good memories, along with so many bad....
I found her as a cub, barely a week old, her mother killed by poutchers. Knowing only the right thing must be done I wisked her away, back to my village where I was staying with the native people, while doing a medical internship in northern Africa. Having the attention and graditude of the native people, i was able to come by the services of a local prostitute for free. No, not like that. I convinced her to breast feed the cub, it was our only hope. And by Zues' beard, it grew into a fine beast..
ah **** i cant keep this **** up, no you cant a friekin tiger as a pet, even if you could leagally, and raised it from a baby it is a wild animal and can't logically reason, it WILL eat you!!

I do some volunteer work with a local big cat rescue (rescuing them from people who had them as pets, but not adopting them out to people) so I get to see them and interact with them in safety (i.e., on the other side of a fence) and don't have to pay the bills! You wouldn't believe how big a tiger enclosure should be - I'd go broke just trying to afford the chain link fence, not to mention food, vet bills, etc.) I love to watch them and talk to them, but the more I see of how powerful they are the more I would not want to have one as a pet. Even our nicest tiger who's very socialized and friendly is still strong enough to kill me with a casual slap. If you like big cats see if you can volunteer at a zoo or rescue organization.

That would be a very bad idea. Tigers cannot be tamed. There was an act using tigers in Las Vegas starring Siegfried and Roy. One of the tigers that they had raised from a cub nearly killed Roy. He will never be the same.

No I haven't and never have planned on it. It is suicidal to have any animal like that for a pet. You shouldn't even let that cross your name. Having one of those as a pet I mean.

Yes, it's name was Simba. Which no one understood because that sounds like a lions name. One day I took it to school and all the children ran away. Simba became so scared he began to attack people! I didn't know what to do it was so unlike him! But then, thank goodness, INDIANNA JONES CAME OUT AND USED HIS WHIP TO TIE HIM UP!!! But then a giant boulder came and would've squashed him if Batman hadn't been there to save the day! But he forgot his belt so I had to give him my grenade and he blew up th school and Simba ran away. . . . . J/k no, I've never had a tiger, but they're my favorite animal!

No, I haven't because they are a very endangered species. they say that there are more pet tigers in Nevada alone than in the wild, so if you're considering one, please don't!
