This 2006, things have changed. It is perfectly alright for a girl to ask a boy out. You should not feel bad about your decision. The thing is, you did what you wanted to do because that's what you wanted. You should only feel bad if you did it because someone else told you to do it and it was not your own decision.

Don't be. A girl can ask out a guy and vice versa. In fact most
boys/men like that in a girl/woman.

For as long as somebody is asking somebody. I think it's good for girls to ask guys out every now and again. I wish more girls would be upfront with things like that.

Nowadays it doesn't matter. I have been asked out a few times by women I know..

No it's ok i wouldn't worry about it or feel bad. Some of those boys just don't know how to make the first move so we girls need to take action. It's ok no worries. : )

Guys should do all the work, lol. By being the asker, you're making them lazy. Overall, it's a preference & it differs to each individual.
And why the feelings of guilt? Could it be you were not as into him as you thought (?!)

For older people like me, the guy should do the asking. But for younger people I think either is OK.
