Do you think people who strap bombs to their chest, enslave and torture women, mutilate the genitals of little girls, fire rockets into crowded temples and cafes, cut off the heads of captured Americans on video for the whole world to see, who chant "Death to Israel" and "kill all the jews", and who think that Allah will reward them with 72 virgin girls if they kill jews or Americans... are people whom you would want to be anywhere near without a good solid gun in your hand?
You really have to lay off of the anti-American propaganda. Even if America isn't perfect, that doesn't make the opposition any holier. The fact is, they are the aggressors. They are just not technologically proficient. That's why we are winning. They should not have attacked us over and over again after we didn't retaliate the first time. Or the second time. How many terrorist attacks against America have there been before we finally decided to take down these people?
And by the way, don't use the "Iraqis didn't attack us" argument. Most of the terrorists we are fighting in Iraq are mercenaries and Jihadists sent from neighboring territories to prevent Iraq from becomming a free society and American ally in the Middle East. 90% of Iraqi civilians support our efforts there. The new Iraqi government does not want us to leave. The people of Iraq are afraid that if we leave, the invaders from other countries which are already trying to win Iraqi territory and overthrow the government will do just that.
Please don't have political opinions if you don't understand what is going on in the world. It just makes you sound ignorant.

No! And a Real Patroit is someone who stands up for the principles of America: freedom, a free press, right of free speech and right to disagree with the Government, Military, some Veterans groups who insist that there is only one opinion in our Country when it comes to war.
It is our right to disagree with the President of the United States, and I think it is obvious that Bush has made more than a couple of mistakes. He has made the worst blunder since the American Civil War was declared in 1860 by the Confederates.

OMG, your warping the view to make them out to be murderers.
They aren't sitting over here waiting for a contract on So-n-So Abdul. They are security contractors, they work over there to keep the peace and protect the infrastructure. If someone attack them or the people/place they are there to protect, they will fullfill their duties. Thats not murder, just as a police officer killing an armed assailant isn't murder.
You're clearly just trying to construe the truth.

The hired security in Iraq are legitimate capitalist, such as Blackwater USA. Unlike how you would stereotype them the US military-for-hire companies will not go into combat without the explicit permission and blessing of the United States. They are there assisting our soldiers so that they can do their jobs of going out and fighting the bad guys.

You can believe what you want, and take this as a grain of salt. But any site that has open editing and individual's account of history is by no means the source I would use. About your source link. "Anyone who registers on the website and becomes a member of a timeline project can submit content. Membership is free. Once a user becomes a member, s/he can edit existing event summaries by clicking the edit link that is next to that event (the user must be logged in to see the edit link). In addition to editing existing events, users can also add new ones to the database. Registered users who add content are called “contributors.” Since the project is still beta, and since we do not have enough editors at this time, membership is restricted to a relatively small group of users."

I do not care what you call them. They go into the hot spots, their death toll & injuries are much higher than the military.
My son is an Army Lt. & US Ranger & everytime they go into a hot spot my son is not in that spot.
Some of them train Iraqi military, guard US & other visitors & protect food convoys. All needed & one less soldier needed to go to Iraq. Do you want our Soldiers over there or someone being paid to take the risk?

It makes you a mercenary for contracted security firms. Not the same as the legal definition of murder. Is the security guard at the local bank a "murderer"? Don't think so.
