Not saying I do or don't. Besides I'm not old enough to matter anyway.

Me.

At the time back in 2000, I felt he was the lesser of two evils. Both major parties are bought an paid for by special interests, yet they remain our only viable options every 4 years. There was something about Gore that rubbed me the wrong way - his pompous attitude and "I'm smarter than you"swagger. I just didn't trust him. So I voted for Bush thinking "How bad could he possibly be?"

Well, we found out.

I have since done a complete 180. Tried righting my wrong in 2004 by voting for Kerry, who was destroyed by a right wing propaganda machine that spun story after story about "flip flopping" - a term they propogated for the sole purpose of branding Kerry untrustworthy when his record proved he had far more integrity than he was ever given credit for.

Today I deeply wish the Supreme Court had ruled in Gore's favor. I used to vote a straight Republican ticket, but this administration has so mishandled the state of our nation they've made a liberal out of me. And I'm not alone. Americans are as sick of being told how to think by our renegade president as they are hearing him mispronounce the word "nuclear." Approval polls tell the story - as does the fact that nearly every single post in his administration has been replaced during his tenure. It's a sinking ship, and an embarrassment to our great nation.

I don't blame Bush personally for any of this. I believe he has good intentions. Plus, I sincerely doubt he's been making any real decisions on his own anyhow. And the best he can do while we're mired in Iraq, which we invaded on the premise there existed WMD that we now know never existed, the Bush Administration elects to suggest a Constitutional Amendment banning gay marriage. How is that a priority when social security is insolvent, and our health care system in equally dire straits? Politics disgust me.

I'm voting for Mike Ditka in 2008.

I never dreamed he would do this bad, at first, I kinda liked him, now I'm amazed at how we let such an idiot into the highest position in the country. There are a whole lot of real Republicans that hate this guy's guts.

Voted against him twice, hate him more than I did before. My bumper sticker says "2008, the end of an error." I keep hoping that somebody takes him, cheney (the great white hunter) and rumsfeld out....I can't advocate it, but I can wish it.
