He should apologise to everyone in the world, not to Zidane alone. The match was being watched all over the world and he did something that is unforgivable, which ruined the whole game.
But i dont think he's that ethical to make an apology.

Anyone who have played soccer at certain level, knows that "insulting the opponent" is common among players. Is it wrong? Absolutely YES.
Was Zidane apologetic when he head-butted an opponent in a Champions League match against Hamburger SV? NO.
Did he apologize to the Saudi Arabia opponent when at the 1998 World Cup he stomped on the player? NO!
Why is this time different?
For the record: Zidane said he DID NOT REGRET the headbutt on Materazzi, but he said he was sorry for his fans that had to see it.
DO YOU CALL THAT APOLOGIZE???

Yes, I agree Materazzi should apologize. Everyone should follow the Golden Rule: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you".
If Materazzi wouldn't like someone harassing and abusing him then he shouldn't have done so to Zidane.

Materazzi should apologize.
Like Zidane said "why is it only the punisher who gets punished and not the person who set it off"

as a results of fact that Materazzi already apologized to Zidane,so i think of Zidane could say sorry to Materazzi too.that could desire to be honest then.the two considered one of them are at fault,so the two considered one of them could say sorry to a minimum of one yet another.yet Zidane already stated that he won't say sorry as a results of fact if he does,it skill that in spite of Materazzi stated is sweet then. Sorry Juventina, yet come to think of of it,Zidane has an enhanced reason to headbutt Materazzi and Materazzi has no longer somewhat a competent reason to impression Zidane.Materazzi would not have provoked Zidane.and that i trust andygurl a hundred%.No offense meant.

Yes for sure and he should be punished too
I do agree that what zizou did was definitely wrong and he got his punishmend by being sent off.
The italian who provoked the whole issue was now so happy with the world sup trophy! I think it's unfair and FIFA must do something on that guy
