Not Albania....his parents are originally from Algeria (which is in North Africa and was a colony of France) but he was born in France.

zinedine zidane's parents are algerian immigrants to france.so technically he is not pure french is he an algerien because his parents are from algeria.

yeah, his family is from algeria in northern africa, which used to be a french colony. albania is in eastern europe and used to be part of the soviet union.
