Lebron, because he led his team to the playoffs and beat a very good team in the wash wiz. Not to mention almost knocking out the defending champs, Detroit. Lebron is "the one". Even though Kobe is my favorite player and "the man", Lebron has this league on lock. Carmelo is way too overrated. Yeah he scores, but that's about it.

The wizards werent a good team at all...Sum of the worst D in the NBA...it all depends who they get to help carmelo or lebron...They need thier pippin or shaq....none of these players can win it alone...and if u say lebonr can win it alone ur dreamin....and carmelo and no where near as good as lebron

History says nothing is assured in the NBA.. Clyde Drexler,Charles Barkley,Grant Hill,Penny Hardaway, Karl Malone,Patrick Ewing,Kevin Johnson,Larry Johnson,Pierce,carter,Mcgrady,Francis,Marbury,Nash,Kidd,Webber,Garnett, name it.. Just because they are superstars doesnt mean it will be automatic for them..
Denver is making the right moves,so that makes Melo closer to the Championship right now,but lets see if they could be a powerhouse team next season.. I cannot say the same for Cleveland..

I think its gotta be LeBron. This kid is the real deal and will lead the Cavs to the playoffs for years to come. Mello will be ok but he isnt the leader LeBron is.

It's not promised to either of them. Some of the best to ever play the game haven't won a ring. It's not promised that D'Wade will ever win another one.
