I have really wanted to get my nose peirced but i was not sure of the downfalls of that. How does it effect your nose? Does it effect your breathing? I know it will hurt to have a needle crammed into my nose (had this with the ear) Im not even sure if im getting one but i would like to know the good things about it and the bad things about it :)

I've had my nostril pierced a lil' over 3 yrs...And no...it doesn't effect your breathing at all...Also, the actual piercing doesn't even hurt!...All I felt was some pressure, & that's all...I've got 7 earrings (3 in each lobe, 1 in my cartilage) & I'm here to tell ya....The nostril piercing hurt A LOT LESS. Actually, like I said -- it wasn't even painful!...Just a lil' sore afterwards, but that's normal...You just have to be careful as it's healing...Be careful not to get any make-up in it or around it...Also be careful as you wash your face, & dry it off (Especially if you're drying it with a towel)...Have to be a lil' careful sleeping (Especially if you sleep on the side that you get pierced)...You just have to be careful in general as it's healing...

I have a nose piercing also and it has never affected my breathing. It didn't take that long to heal either. I don't wear mine anymore after having it for 13 years. But the hole is still open and I'm in the business world now, so I always have people asking me,"Did you have your nose pierced?". Not exactly the coolest thing when you're 30. You might want to keep that in mind.

i dont know any good thing about having an nose pierce. but infection can hurt alot and when u get the colds, flu, ur nose gonna hurt alot. especially when u have boogers coming out. all the boogers will stay on the ring. infection is not all that great. but for some people have no problem. it depends on what ur body will accept. u can try it for a while or not. it ur decision.

I had mine pierced for about a year. It tickled my inner nostril, but looked so cute. It made my sneeze alot. I finally got it taken out permanently because I cought it on a sweater I was taking off. Be careful of that. I washed it with sea salt and Softsoap. It looks darling, but be careful of infection. Oh, and the actual piercing only hurt a bit.

i have a nose piercing and it hasn't effected my breathing but it took awhile for it to heal. i quess that's the only downfall for me

um i don't have one but my friend does. her's did not heal properly and got infected. her nose was like peeling and was like red black and blue. it was nasty and then she had to get the ring cut out beccause it got stuck because of the infection!
